Very good coffee-maker
We received one of these as a freebie a few years ago, and it served us very well. It didn't quite get hot enough for optimum brewing results, but it was closer than most. I wouldn't pay full price for one, but the closeout price is reasonable. I think I might buy one to keep on hand as a spare.

Terrible
After less than a year this went into the garbage this morning. The red ball for determining the amount of water in the pot stopped functioning 6 months ago. This week it stopped brewing and created steam all over the cabinets and nearby windows.
I would not donate this machine to a shelter.

Not a good buy.
This coffee maker is very poorly made. When the pot is full it is almost too heavy for the handle. It comes close to coming off.
The lid comes off easily. Now the silver panel on the front is coming loose. Very disappointing.

I know they came in black because I had one, but it doesn't look like you can order it in black. Since it's a closeout, it's likely that white is all they have left. The black one I had was a freebie that I received a number of years ago.Age: 45-54

No, there is no water filter, but from everything I've heard and read, the filters in coffee-makers don't really work very well. We have a whole-house filter/softener, so it's not a problem for us.Age: 45-54

Yes, it has a heating element that shuts off automatically after two hours. It's a nice safety feature, but I would never leave coffee on the burner for that long.Age: 45-54
