Tastes great, not bitter
This is the best tasting coffee Gevalia makes for K-cups. I've tried them all so far and this one is the best. A little stronger than some but not bitter at all, makes me happy to get up in the morning. I've only had a few cups out of several boxes that have grounds in them, I just filter them out with a coffee filter.

Be wary: Excessive sludge and tiny grounds
I was excited to try these Dark Royal Roast K-cups as tend to like the bold brews. I do like the flavor of this roast but every single k-cups I have brewed (6:12 so far), I have needed to filter the tiny sludge grounds that also flow from the K-cups. I have not experienced Sooooo much grounds and sludge with any other brand.

Excellent Dark Coffee
It really doesn't get better than this. Dark, rich and flavorful.
I enjoy dark roasts, but this one is the best I have tried in a very long time. Good by itself; complements any meal, esp deserts. Do wish it came in decaf K-cups for late night pie, coffee and a movie.

My tongue is now bald.
I generally love Gevalia's coffees, especially Stockholm Roast and Royal Vinter, but this product is horrid. Bitter. "Oily". Nasty. I'm so glad I only purchased the "12 pack" so I only have 11 more cups to suffer through. *shiver*
So far even diluting in half with milk hasn't helped cover that background oily bitterness. I am truly disappointed with this coffee.
I can't wait for K-cup versions of Stockholm Roast and Royal Vinter.

I used to drink Gevalia all the time. I then purchased a Kuerig coffee machine. I usually purchase Newmans Own Organic Coffee in a bulk box that contains 80 Kuerig cups for under $40.00. If I wanted 80 of yours I would have to spend about $60.00 dollars. Do you have plans to compete with this type of bulk purchase? If you do, I will become a customer again.

I was a long time auto-delivery customer of Gevalia. I'm happy to see Gevalia producing coffee pods for Keurig K-cup brewers, but I have a Keurig Vue cup brewer. If Gevalia sold coffee for my machine, I'd consider reactivating my Gevalia auto-delivery membership.
