Gevalia Kaffe Apple Coffee Cake

A great treat to enjoy after a long ride in the autumn countryside gathering the fruits of the season! Our coffeecake will go perfectly with your favorite Gevalia Kaffe!

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stir in wet ingredients and blend. Then stir in apples and nuts.
  3. Pour into a greased and floured 9-inch tube pan.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 60 minutes, or until cake tester comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. Serve warm or cool, sprinkled with confectioners sugar

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups unsifted flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup of your favorite Gevalia Kaffe, brewed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups peeled, sliced apples
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
