Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 25 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Necessary Product This is an essential item replacement in our Tassimo machine. We only wish Tassimo products were available locally for our machine. November 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great features While a permanent filter would be welcome, this one does fine for now. July 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works Great The water filter works well in my Tassimo Brewer, and seems to last a long time. It's relatively simple to prep and install the filter. I recommend this product. July 20, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Product. Just one problem with dispensing coffee I really enjoy my Tossimo, but I continue to have just one problem. a) I Descaled twice & got my bar indicator back to five bars--"Like I'm suppose to do. before and after Descaling. I even replaced the MM Water Filter after the first Descaling process. b) After everything is done and I want to dispense a cup of "Cappuccino", Now here's where the problem begins. I place the coffee plastic pack in it's proper position. Now the Red Coffee Light is on. I push the front door down to engage the coffee pack, hoping that the Yellow Light will light up so I can began the dispensing cycle. However, the Red Light remains Red and then I use another pack and another pack and continue until the Yellow Light remains on and now I can start the process. Well, I have about 20/25 coffee packs that won't activate the cycle. I continue to place a new pack in it's proper position until it activates and begins it's cycle. I never have a problem with the foam creamer, just the coffee. Thank you for this survey. Paul July 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Product is as described Fits into our Tassimo Bosch coffee maker and works as described July 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 love the products My wife and I recently returned from two weeks in France and Germany, what did we miss the most =TASSIMO !!! I drink regular coffee,my wife drinks de-caf,my only complaint would be Maxwell House does not have the de-caf in 12 ounces. As far as the brewer and the coffee Excellant, and delivery times are good. June 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Does its job Have worked through a Mavea filter and these filtration systems do well if you keep on schedule or at least close to it. It does help the product to have filtered water. I learned this from our previous quick single cup coffee maker(CBTL) and Cuisinart 2 cup. The coffee made with filtered water had a much truer taste and less acidity. April 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good filter What I like about the filter is the ease of installing it. I was surprised how long it lasted. The gauge on my unit tells me when to change the filter and I have learned if installed correctly the filter will last longer. April 4, 2014

Answer:
I typically brew 5 cappucinos or lattes per day and try to change my filter every 3 months or so. However I can only get them online and have been really lax about ordering them so I have gone as much as 5 - 6 months on one filter before and have noticed only a slight reduction in flavor quality. You might need to adhere more to the "standard" filter change schedule if you are a more "hardcore" coffee drinker or use the brewer more frequently.

Answer:
To ensure that your MAVEA filter is always working well, we recommend that the cartridge is changed regularly, at least every 8 weeks or 40 gallons (150L).

Answer:
Not compatable, they just discontinued the Braun filter. The technician said use bottled water, no need for filter. Spread the word to those that have the Bosch system, waste of money.

Answer:
I have a Braun (purchased in 2006) and it has a water filter. I recently ordered and received the Mavea water filter thinking it was a replacement for the original water filter (which apparently is discontinued as it does not appear on the Tassimo website). Unfortunately, the Mavea filter is NOT compatible with the Braun, so that begs the question - where do I get water filters for this unit?

Answer:
The Braun Water Filter will no longer be available. Braun has discontinued production of this item however, we assure you that your Braun TASSIMO Brewer will operate without the water filter cartridge; simply remove the filter cartridge from the water tank. Fill the water tank with ONLY fresh, uncarbonated water each day for optimum flavor results. Tap water is fine but chemically softened water is not recommended.

No they disconitnued the filter when they went to Bosch. Technician says use bottled water, cheaper and easier. Tell the Bosch folks to quit buying the filters.

Answer:
Unfortunately, no. I am in the same situation, I have an older Braun, also--and Braun has discontinued making the filters for the machine. (Sorry to say, but I think that was pretty poor planning on their part.) According to an answer above, the Braun Tassimos work fine without--just use non-carbonated and non-softened water, and no filter.

Answer:
The Mavea filter does not fit the Braun brewer. Mavea water filters are only for the Bosch T45 and T65 brewers.

The Braun water filter can be purchased at www.theessentials.com.

Your Braun unit can also be operated without a filter cartridge ; simply remove the filter cartridge from the water tank. Fill the water tank only with fresh, uncarbonated water each day for optimum flavor results. Tap water is acceptable to use. Please do not use chemically softened water.
