Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 244 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great tasting product This product has a wonderful smooth taste. No bitter taste. My husband has several cups every morning. February 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by 99.7% caffeine free At 99.7% caffeine free this is the only coffee my husband will drink. He loves his coffee every evening and doesn't have to worry about getting jittery during the day while he works. February 13, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Absolutely no taste all all . I only use KCups, and usually love my Gevalia, but the Gevalia decaf gives a bad name to all decaf! January 26, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Taste good but not working in my machine. I have a Bun machine and these cups will not work with my machine. All of the grounds end up in the coffee cup. Flavor seems good but not worth the trouble of getting the grounds out. January 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Decaf My wife is very particular about her decaf coffee. After trying several K-Cup brands we received samples of Gevalia in a variety pack. She loved it, so we ordered several boxes. The downside is that it is a little more expensive, but she claims the taste is worth it. January 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bold Decaf I enjoy this coffee because it is a bold decaf flavor that is perfect for my normal morning coffee routine without the gitters. January 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best ever I have become a coffee snob, like my son. Gevalia is the best by far. February 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Decaf Gevalia Signature Blend Decaf has a invigorating aroma that wakes you up in the morning -- and No caffeine! January 8, 2015

BAGGED VS. K-CUPPED COFFEE

Was this helpful?helpful0unhelpful0
I'm trying to figure out which is more cost efective, whether buying the k-cups, or buying the bagged coffee. However, in the bag, you can tell the net coffee weight, because it's all ground coffee within it. Yet, in the k-cup, the net weight stated in the box is 6.2 oz, what would make almost 3 18Ct boxes to make up a lb of coffee, whereas, with bagged coffee it would take 2 8-oz bags to conform a lb of coffee. This would be, cost-wise, roughly $30 for the k-cups, Vs. only $16 for bagged coffee.
Does my analysis make any sense? Or, am I ommitting any critical difference (i.e., the coffee concentration) between the two venues?

Answer:
I usually only have one mug of coffe in the mornings. My mug holds about 2 cups. It doesn't make sense to me to brew a whole pot for one mug full. Plus I noticed that I was throwing out coffe because I didn't empty the pot. So the Kcups are better for me. Plus they brew very quickly so I can be out the door.

Answer:
I would say the bagged coffee is more cost effective, but you have to consider the convenience of K-cups. Which is most important to you? In my opinion there is no difference in the strength of the coffee. It all depends on how much water you use. I buy both kinds!

Answer:
It makes sense. You do pay more for K-cups but you are paying for ease of use, the ability to switch flavors/ brands with each cup and no mess clean-up. Of course, you can use ground coffee with your K-cup machine so if you don't mind the hassle you can save a bunch.

not sure overall, but this deal with the K cups can't be beat. It is about 1000 times easier to make the coffee and with this deal, if it is a few pennies more, it is so well worth the cost!!!!!

Answer:
Caffeine content also depends on how "bold" the coffee is. If we take it across the whole spectrum, coffee contains between 75 and 150 mg. of caffeine per 8 oz. cup, depending on the roasting strength and other factors. It is difficult to measure the nutritional content of coffee, because it varies depending on many things. Generally, the darker the coffee is roasted, the less caffeine it contains.

Almost all decaffeinated coffees still contain some caffeine. The international standard by which decaffeinated coffee is characterized is by having at least 97% of the caffeine removed. Decaf coffee should fall somewhere in the range of 2 to 4 mg. per 8 oz cup.

Answer:
Thank you for asking. Gevalia uses the supercritical carbon dioxide decaffeination process. Green coffee beans are exposed to carbon dioxide at high pressure and an elevated temperature for a determined period of time to remove most of the coffee’s caffeine. The pressure is then reduced and the coffee (decaffeinated green coffee) is ready for further processing -- roasting and grinding. There are no additional chemicals used.

Decaffeinated coffees contain no more than 0.1% caffeine in the finished coffee, which results in a consumer intake of 2-3 mg of caffeine per 6 oz. serving.

Have a great day.

Answer:
Thanks for asking. After a transition period, all Kraft single-serve pods will be compatible with the new Keurig 2.0 machine. Look for a black compatibility icon on the bottom-left corner of the front of the package. The icon will appear with a check mark and say “For use in all Keurig K-Cup Brewers.” This means that the product has transitioned and is now compatible. Please use the provide link to view our Keurig 2.0 selection. Have a great day.
