We know we’re biased, but our newest Crown Collection Indian Budan Peak coffee has us a little dizzy. It smells incredible and tastes wonderfully balanced. This hand-picked coffee is shade-grown on the Budan Giri Hills, the birthplace of coffee in India. It grows under a canopy of trees on a lush plantation 1,500 feet above sea level that receives 80 inches of rainfall
a year. All that rain and mineral-rich soil make our newest Crown Collection entry one of the best coffees in the world (if we do say so ourselves!).

Gevalia Customer Relations Manager Dana Vogel loves to entertain. She makes
every party feel cozy, no matter how big the |
| |
crowd. So when Dana was given the assignment to reinvent Gevalia.com to bring “Home is where it happens” to life online, she thought about the way she likes to entertain in her own home, and how much she loves taking care of her family and friends. |
| |
Q. So your job is to make the website useful, satisfying and fun? |
| |
A. Yes. We want the content to really deliver for our customers. We’ve thought about all the ways we celebrate at home during the holidays and how Gevalia can make them even more special. Regardless of what’s happening economically, home is where it always happens for the holidays. |
| |
Q. What’s your favorite thing about the new Gevalia.com? |
|
A. It’s so much easier to customize your account. The new website makes the process not only simpler, but more personal. Now it’s a cinch to explore the different varieties of coffee and to choose exactly when they’re going to be delivered. If a customer wants to swap, say, Stockholm Blend for Signature Roast, she can do that in just two clicks. Our customers love to try different varieties of coffee and the website is now more flexible and can easily help make that happen. |
|
Q. Which coffee do you serve your guests? |
|
A. I usually serve Signature Blend. It’s a great introduction to our roasts and to quality premium coffee. For the holidays I’ll brew Royal Vinter. I love the way it smells! Because I try to think of everyone, I’ll also serve a flavored coffee, like Crème Brulee. It’s more pots to clean up, but we’ve had impromptu coffee tastings after a meal and that’s really fun.
Discover Dana’s favorite decaf, which reminds her of her favorite ice cream flavor from childhood. |
