Great Flavor
Overall, one of the best coffees available from Gevalia. Bold, yet smooth. Great combination of attributes make this one of my favorites for any time of day.

The best coffee
I find this to be by far the best coffee I have ever had - I've tried others, but I always come back to Caffe Greco. This is definitely the very best of the best any time of day!

Robust Flavor
This flavorful dark coffee is very satisfying. Full bodied and bold, it is a great start to my husband's and my mornings.

One of the best!
This is my all time favourite coffee. I make it very strong and more than I plan to drink hot then put the extra in the refrigerator to make my own ice coffee. I only add cream to my very dark brew and it tastes like dark velvet....rich and smooth. No bitter after taste! Just came back to Gevalia because I couldn't find anything like this any where else!

Aptly named.
This coffee is indeed similar to what you get at its namesake in Rome. Unique and interesting coffee flavors; robust but with low acidity. It is easily one of my Gevalia favorites.

GREAT, full coffee
I LOVED this coffee. I have tried several Gevalia varieties, and this one by far and away was my favorite. It was truly a full bodied, rich cup of coffee with no bitterness or sourness. If you like Starbucks, you will like this brew. It was wonderful. I don't know how the person who made it thought it was weak or thin or like tea. I made it with my Keurig and it was full and absolutely satisfying.

Excellent
I recently have re-tried several of the Gevalia coffees and found that this is my favorite. This is a rich, full-bodied and most flavorful coffee. My next favorites would be the Cafe Sperl and the Creme Brulee. I highly recommend this coffee for those who love a rich coffee that bursts with flavor. The acidity appears to be low as I have never had a problem with it or all of the other Gevalia coffees I have tried. This would also make the perfect expresso and is never bitter.

Very disappointing coffee.
I bought about a dozen coffees from Gev to try some new flavors and look for some with good strength of character:
I hoped to find bold flavor, good solid bodied coffee, and feel like I had a great cup. This is supposed to bold and flavorful. Since it was "Caffe Greco" I figured that this would be it! Alas, what a disappointment. Bold = good tea water.
Even doubling up using twice the normal amount of coffee could not give this what it needs. If you make coffee to "sip tea with your girl friends" you will probably like this: it has some characteristics that remind of a mild columbian blend, but without the strength and boldness. I will add this to my "dump can" of Folgers mix, where I throw all the disappointing stuff for use in the shop at work.

Antico Caffe Greco is this suitable for making esspresso
have a 15 bar machine that makes your espresso blend great usually make caps or lattes and some times want a stronger taste,will this be it? and what about french blend?or any others you might recommend.

I can't compare specifically to the espresso blend, but Antico Caffe Greco does make good espresso. This coffee is indeed similar to what you get at the namesake coffeehouse in Rome, where they serve it as espresso.Age: 45-54

I actually enjoy the Gevelia Espresso Roast- Have you tried it? Their Espresso it really full of flavor and is Low acidity. I do use the Greco too its DELISH- Good Flavor Low Acidity- Wont give you that full Espresso Boast- But its good!Age: 25-34

I've noticed during the past few weeks that the decaf version is not available. Please don't tell us you've stopped making it! This is hands down the best decaf coffee I've ever tasted, and would hate to not be able to get it any longer. Waiting to order more...
