Smells Great, Flavor is Weak I was very excited to try this tea. While it does have an excellent aroma, I was disappointed by how weak the flavor is. You can definitely smell the blackberries and spices. I just wish the flavor was a little bit stronger. Otherwise, it is a decent tea. March 17, 2014
Mhmhmh good! What a wonderful tasting tea! Had it first at a friends house and knew I had to purchase for myself. Luxurious flavor!! Love, love, love it! Thank you Gevalia! February 23, 2014
Lacking blackberry taste This tea smells great but I was not impressed by the taste. The more I drank, the less I liked it. I will not buy it again. February 21, 2014
Blackberry spice tea First time I tried your teas and I will get this one again. Very good flavor. February 19, 2014
Berry good! Blackberry tea is scrumptious and warming... love it HOT! January 6, 2014
This product is wonderful I love this tea. You sent it to me as a gift several months ago and I shared it with my daughter. I purchased a box for her for Christmas and another one for me. I will continue to purchase this one. December 28, 2013
Where's the blackberry? It is a nice black tea, but I do not detect any blackberry (or spice) flavor. December 28, 2013
Surprisingly good I am not a fan of flavored teas, but received this as a promotion. I even gave it to my friend & she encouraged me to try it. I was so pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Every time I visit her, I ask for a cup or two. It's rich, with a wonderful aroma & not sweet, as I anticipated. Thoroughly delightful. December 11, 2013

Answer:
Thanks for asking. The supplier from which we obtain the natural flavoring will not reveal the exact ingredients to us, as they consider it to be proprietary.

We do require the suppliers to inform us if any of the following components are in the flavor so we can label them on the ingredient line:

eggs, dairy, celery, soy, treenuts, peanuts, wheat, fish, shellfish, seafood, gluten and sulfites.

Also, we do not include monosodium glutamate (also known as MSG), hydrolyzed protein (sometimes known as hydrolyzed vegetable protein or HVP) or autolyzed yeast extract under the term 'natural flavor' in the ingredient line.

Your best source for ingredient information is the ingredient line on the product packaging.

When labeling products, we consider - and label for - all possible sources of the 8 major allergens recognized by the FDA. These are eggs, fish, crustacean, shellfish, milk, peanuts, soy, tree nuts and wheat. Kraft also labels for additional allergens or substances of interest including celery, mustard, lupin, mollusks, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, poppyseeds, cottonseed, all sources of gluten, and sulfites in levels over 10 ppm. If any of these substances are added to the product, they will be listed in the Ingredient Statement.

If a Kraft/Nabisco product contains gluten, the gluten source will be listed in the ingredient line, no matter how small the amount.

All gluten-containing ingredients will be identified by commonly known terms such as Wheat, Barley, Oats, Rye, Triticale, Spelt, Kamut, Mir or Farina (also known as Far or Farro)

The vast majority of our products clearly identify the eight major food allergens (eggs, fish, shellfish, milk, peanuts, soy, tree nuts and wheat) in common terms, such as milk, wheat or eggs, that are familiar to consumers, in addition to the more technical terms required by food labeling laws.

Have a great day!
