Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost “artful," but be careful I really like these mugs, but they feel as though they will not take any physical abuse of any kind. I have not had a problem, but I hand wash them and set them aside from other mugs. They simply feel very delicate. On the positive side, I never had a coffee mug that offered optical appeal: I like the way my dark coffee makes a geometric shape inside the transparent mug. I enjoy great tasting coffee in a mug that makes it look great too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still have these available? Used to have these, loved them but did not see them to order anywhere. I don't think they made it through the fire, so I'd like to replace them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for all liquids I love these "mugs". I actually think of them more as glasses. They are also great for white wine. Highly recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish mugs It keeps the coffee hotter longer that stoneware mugs. They look cool with the coffee suspended!!! I use them for all my beverages now, hot or cold. However, I was a bit disappointed when the box they came in said they were made in China, when they said in the product information that they were made in Italy. I also own wine glasses with the same brand name and they were made it Italy. All in all they are still a good purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful mugs Keeps coffee hot. Two thin layers of blown glass insulate. I put them in the dishwasher, just don't let them ding against other things.

Are they glass as described? Or, as they appear, and per comment, are they really cheap plastic? Thermal tumblers are not usually glass.

Are they really made from borosilicate glass, as per the description? Or, as they appear in the picture, and per the single comment, are they really just cheap plastic? Thin cross-section thermal tumblers are not usually made from glass. Pyrex is an example of borosilicate glass products. This type of glass has an ability to withstand thermal shock, and tolerates microwave and diswasher quite well. That material would make these quite nice.

Glass for certain. Borosilicate glass does withstand changes in temperature better than other types of glass. Since this type of glass is created at temperatures over 1500 degrees, re -heating a beverage at below boiling would not effect it at all.

Are there simular style mugs that hold a full 16 oz. latte?

Asked by: Anonymous
The Bormioli mugs only hold 12oz. Unfortunately at this time we do not offer any larger mugs in this style.
