Crème Brulee

Gevalia® Crème Brulee is as rich and indulgent tasting as the dessert for which it's named. Made from some of the finest South and Central American Arabica beans, it has an intensity of flavor you love and a smooth body, balanced by lush creamy caramel notes and a hint of sweetness. Savor the mouthwatering contrast of velvety rich custard and ribbons of caramel in this pleasurably bold coffee blend.

Ingredients: Arabica Coffee, Artificial and Natural Flavor

Great Coffee, Should Be Kept This was the one coffee I bought consistently through Gevalia. Looks like I have no reason to shop here any more. April 12, 2014
Save this coffee Discontinuing this coffee is a HUGE mistake. It has an excellent quality. Definitely one of my favorites. April 11, 2014
Please don't discontinue this excellent coffee! I look forward to this flavor arriving with every shipment. I would like to encourage you to keep this choice of a "dark with a hint of sweet" coffee for your customers. April 7, 2014
I love Creme Brulee. It should NOT be discontinued. Creme Brulee is my absolute favorite of flavored coffee from Gevalia. I am so sad that you are discontinuing this wonderfully rich yummy flavor. If there is any way to save it from this demise, please do. My other favorite is Chocolate Raspberry, which you are also discontinuing. I really feel let down by this. Not sure that I will like your alternate recommendations as much. I always looked forward to getting these two flavors. Please bring Creme Brulee and Chocolate Raspberry back! April 6, 2014
PLEASE DON'T DISCONTINUE! This is my FAVORITE, for years, and after discontinuing Amaretto (my second favorite flavor) I think I'll have to be finding another coffee club... This is the ONLY dark roast flavored coffee you carry, and it was unique and WONDERFUL. Please please reconsider; given the product ratings, I can't see why you'd want to get rid of this flavor. April 5, 2014
Please DON"T DISCONTINUE!! This is one of our favorite coffees!! My whole extended family loves it when we are sitting out by the firepit at night!! WHY are you discontinuing it!!! April 5, 2014
Creamy and complicated flavors Unfortunately I just got my letter that it was discontinued and when I came here to order it - you guessed it it's gone. I have not seen something sell out so fast. The best part about his coffee is its full body flavor. There is never a burnt flavor like other brands and it has complicated creamy notes as it moves over your palate. The recommended substitute is vanilla but the vanilla doesn't have the same thickness of flavor. It falls rather flat. I truly do hope that Gevalia will bring this back at some point especially considering that we were not able to stock up a little before having to go without. April 5, 2014
What a shame Such a shame that this wonderfully flavored coffee is being discontinued. I truly don't understand this decision since it was one of the best flavors offered. I'm sure there's more to it than trying to provide the best beans...blah, blah, blah. With this development, I'm not sure it's necessary to remain a member of the coffee club, and I'm sure the other three households in my family feel the same. Thank you for your past years of excellent coffees, Gevalia. April 4, 2014

Answer:
All the coffees seem to be UNsweetened. The Creme Brulee is flavored, so it may "seem" sweet but there is no sugar. There is no indication of sugar added, as per the label - just coffee and flavoring.

Answer:
Gevalia does not sweeten any of the coffee products.

Gevalia Flavored Coffees may contain a small amount of corn derived ingredients that are part of the added flavors themselves. these corn derived ingredients are part of the product in insignificant amounts and do not add calories or sweetness to the coffee.

Using loose coffee with Keurig

I am using decaf Gevalia coffee with a K-Cup adapter, but I'm having trouble with the water going thru the fine granules. I know Keurig recommends using a coarser grind than Gevalia's, but is there anyway to get around it. I don't know where all the water is going, but not in the cup

Answer:
My suggestion would be to use a food grinder to make your coffee more fine. Then put it in your maker.

Answer:
Try using less than full to the line in your cup. Gevalia coffee is fairly strong since it is such a fine grind and you don't need as much. You need to have some room in the cup for the water. The water stays in the machine and does not go into your cup if it can't process it (the water) through. Once I cut back on the amount I was using, I haven't had a problem since.

Answer:
Gevalia coffee only comes in whole bean and fine grind. We do not offer different grinds of the coffee, however you are able to purchase whole bean and then grind it more coarse so that it could be used in the K-Cup adapter.

Answer:
Gevalia uses the supercritical carbon dioxide decaffeination process. Green coffee beans are exposed to carbon dioxide at high pressure and an elevated temperature for a determined period of time to remove most of the coffee’s caffeine. The pressure is then reduced and the coffee (decaffeinated green coffee) is ready for further processing -- roasting and grinding. There are no additional chemicals used.
