does not fit my Gevalia coffeemaker This gold cone filter won't fit my Gevalia coffeemaker. The top won't close. Also, the coffee had a funny taste. I use a disposable #4 filter but this filter is no good. Would like to return it. =( March 7, 2012
Easy to use/Easy to clean Used like paper filters, without the waste- and never have to worry about not having filters on a Sunday morning again! .Just be sure to soak and rinse between uses, or your coffee may taste a little stale. I use it with back to back pots, just a quick rinse in-between pots without notice of 'old coffee' taste (it's when I'm lazy and let it sit with the grinds in it for several hours that it really needs a good soak... I put mine in the dishwasher without harm. have it mine for about 7 years so far- good as new. We actually got a second one, since my husband doesn't care for flavored coffees which often leave a lasting flavor- so one for regular, and one for my chocolate almond coffees! ;-) January 27, 2012

I'll bet it's a #4 - I bought one last year and don't remember having a size option. Even because Gevalia is not selling the smaller coffee makers any more.

I find that the # 2 filters that I can buy everywhere, do not fit properly my coffee for two filter holders, and I have to fold in the sides. I wonder if this goldtone permanent filter fits properly?

Coffee for two brewer comes with ten # 2 paper filter. Should replenish with #2 paper or #2 perm. Mesh filter if you can find one at retail
