Grandkids I bought this teamaker when it first came out some years ago and I am still brewing tea in it. The Grandkids 10 and 13 likes it when their friends come over and they can all make tea. This teamaker is very sturdy and dishwasher safe, I love it. I will buy another one if this one goes bad. December 19, 2012

Hi there:...
I don't see why it cannot be used for iced coffee. (I've made it in a different machine).
You'll just need to get the right measurements of water and coffee to suit your taste.
I love so many Gevalia products and gift sets.
I plan to purchase this Tea Maker right now and use it to brew both Tea and Coffee!...

How many ounces is the pitcher and can you use tea bags or is this strictly to be used with loose tea? How long does it take to brew a pitcher of tea in this iced tea maker? Looks like something I would love to purchase if I knew a little more about the item. Thank you.

You can brew up to 2 qts in the pitcher. You can use either loose tea or tea bags. Takes approx 15min to brew a full pitcher
