Sourced exclusively from Guatemala, a country known for its majestic mountain ranges, the high altitude strongly influences this coffee's deliciously unique flavor. This coffee contains beans from farms that have achieved Rainforest Alliance certification, which encourages a minimum of 40% shade cover on farms located in naturally forested areas.

The resulting coffee is medium-bodied with a depth and complexity of earthy, smoky notes and a hint of cocoa. Enjoy in your regular coffee maker or, for an exceptionally unique experience, this blend is perfectly tailored for use in your French Press brewer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Wake-Up Coffee! Since this is a coarse blend, we usually run in through the coffee grinder at least one time. Taste, smell & caffeine jolt is perfect for mornings, especially a rainy Monday. Delicious coffee. Thanks Gevalia!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for cold brew We have changed to cold brew coffee at home. This coffee is the best we've found. Not oily, no aftertaste. The cocoa flavor undertones come alive with hazelnut creamer! This one is a keeper

Rated 5 out of 5 by from smooth flavor explosion!! I have been drinking Gevalia for years now, but this coffee is the most amazing coffee I have ever had. It's not flavored, but when I put the course ground into my K-Cup Keurig machine, It came out rich and smooth and with ZERO bitter aftertaste. I drank the entire cup in front of the coffee maker and had to make another immediately, which is not my usual norm. I am going to be ordering more, swiftly, as the aroma is heady with a scent that takes you almost into a dreamlike state. It is fantastic. If you like Columbian and the Signature blend (and even Cafe Greco) this one will blow you away. DELICIOUS.

Why coarse grind?

I don't understand why this is a coarse grind instead of the regular fine grind. Can you explain?
