Rated 5 out of 5 by from Iced Coffee & Smoothie Glasses I now have 8 glasses and I gave away another 6 to my mother for various cold drinks. So far everyone who drinks from them like their shape and easy to hold onto. I use them frequently for smoothie drinks in the morning as I keep mine in the freezer. Great for frozen drinks too.

iced coffee glasses

what does iced mean?
Asked by: rascal
"Iced" means - a drink with ice. I would brew coffee or tea and allow it to cool before pouring over ice to serve "iced coffee" or "iced tea". I would not add HOT beverage to glassware. Years and years ago one would put a silver spoon in glassware before adding hot beverage - the silver would absorb the heat and not allow the glass to overheat. These glasses are NICE glassware to serve on your table.

Are these glasses microwave and dishwasher safe?

It's really nice to know what care glassware needs.

Hello 1Funchick, thank you for your patience. These glasses are both microwave and dishwasher safe. Have a great day!

Are these glasses you stick in the freezer??

Asked by: katzlover
I do not put them in the freezer - they are nice glassware and when served on a table they are pretty and classy. Simple shape and tall enough and not clunky thick as some glasses are.

What are the glasses made of?

Can you brew right into the glasses with ice in them or is it a material that will shatter with the extreme temperature change?
Asked by: coffee4d
It's always better to be safe than sorry. Even tempered glass can shatter. My advice, brew than pour over ice. I have always been told to put a stainless steel spoon in into a glass when pouring in hot liquid into glass to avoid shattering. Best Wishes.
