Excellent decaf
I ordered this as a decaf, which I see is not available now. How disappointing. I hope the decaf comes back as I can not have the caffeine but still appreciate a nice espresso. Delicious cup of coffee with all the flavor I love without the problems caffeine gives me.

Very Disappointed - stopped Decaf
We loved Expresso Decaf. We are very disappointed that you stopped offering decaf Expresso roast.

Disappointing flavor
The Espresso roast is weak compared to other brands. I have tried adding more coffee to less water; result is bitterness. I have tried all different grinds and still cannot get the taste right. Other brands are superior in flavor.

One of the Best
I am a big fan of the Espresso Roast! It is robust and full, but lacking unnecessary bitterness. A great start to the day!

Flavorful coffee
I have been searching for a coffee to brew at homemthat could equal coffee found at Starbucks and this coffee not only equals that but actually rivals it!

Wonderful flavor.
This smelled wonderful from the moment I opened the bag and the taste did not disappoint at all. A very bold deep flavored Espresso. This just might be my new favorite coffee. Delicious.

Aromatic and Bold
This is wonderful coffee to savor anytime, but I love it in the mornings. It is almost sweet, but robust and smooth. I am not a fan of Starbucks coffee, and this has much more flavor than other espresso coffees that I have tried. I also love Gevalia Sperl, Breakfast Blend and Dark Roast.

Exquisite Flavor- Yet Not Such a Dark Roast
Let me start by saying that I'm an Espresso Drinker. When others brew their morning coffee, I drink Espresso- A full 12oz (or more# of it! So I LOVE it strong! I always buy Espresso whole bean and then grind the beans fresh for each brew #Its the ONLY way to go!# I was not sure what to expect with the Gevalia Espresso, as another reviewer had stated it's not your regular Espresso, and she is kinda right- there are some traits missing. YET I Really LOVE it! Personally I love a really Dark Espresso bean, usually with an oily coating to tell me its fresh, so I was kind of dissapointed when I opened the bag to find the Gevelia Espresso was not very dark in roast color #compared to Starbucks) and was not oily. But I was surprised once I tried it- I LOVED the flavor. Since I do Love Espresso in big cups, I like to add some Flavored Creamer for some sweetness and with this one, I barely wanted to add any- I enjoyed the flavor so much, I just wanted to taste the Espresso. True it will not give you that creme top- but you would also have to have a true espresso maker for that. I was a barista for Several Years at a Coffehouse, where we actually Roasted our own beans in house. So I know a GREAT cup of Joe! So If you like Espresso, Gevelia makes a Great One! Again its not the darkest roast, but there is no acidity and the Best part is the lovely flavor & aroma. A MUST TRY! YUMMY!

Not for an espresso machine
I purchase products labeled "espresso roast" specifically for use in my espresso machine. This product may be acceptable to those looking for a darker roast coffee for use with a standard coffee maker, but it does not work well in an espresso machine -- no crema, thin bodied, weak flavor.

The Development Of Flavor
Wow, what a great product. I'm not usually such an avid Coffee drinker, but since buying this specific roast I have at least a cup every morning. And I can keep drinking it every morning because it doesn't have a mono tone flavor. As you drink it your pallet can pick up different caramel tones and a deep rich body.

Very Nice Natural Coffee with a Great Body and Natural Sweetness
Only recently have I become a coffee drinker and I didn't really love coffee at first, but this is one of the best "at-home" cups of coffee I've ever made. As a result of being in music school, I have had to rely on coffee a few times for extensive studying, hence why I've developed a taste for the mighty bean. With Gevalia's Espresso blend, I barely have to add any sugar surprisingly. I noticed a sweetness in the aftertaste with a hint of what seems like vanilla or honey. Verdict? I love this coffee and it's only ingredient is 100% Arabica. As a health nut, I love that it only has one natural ingredient. I highly recommend this for coffee veterans and newcomers alike.

It's everything i love
I have finally found a great coffee. Thank you so much. My husband usually doesn't drink coffee but I now find him asking me to make a pot of this, it is that good. Again thank you so much for a great product.
