Wonderful
This coffee is a wonderful taste at a very affordable price, an everyday coffee.
Smooth, full bodied satisfying.
Agree with previous poster that this variety is underrated.

Go with the MBEYA instead
Not as acidic as advertised, but very bold for a lighter roast!

I had to try it; it sounded so good.
I am now on my second small pot of this coffee. Compared with other darker roasted coffees of the higher priced varieties.... ~$18/lb..... this is weak and rather poor in flavor. I expected to have a more full bodied flavor, adn it just does not deliver. It is okay.... but I would not spend any more money on it, I may as well buy it at my super market. It has little aroma in general, and so little flavor..... disappointed. This all may cure me of coffee yet. $100 in coffee and I may as well have sabved my money for tea. ha ha!

Smooth flavor
Of all the coffees I have tried the smoothness of Kenya suits my tast perfectly. There is not aftertaste and no acidic flavor.

Our favorite Gevalia
We love to experiment and try the many different Gevalia varieties, but the Kenya is our all time favorite. It tastes and smells exquisite.

We love it!
Kenya is the only coffee on our auto-delivery for years. Gevalia has others we like but none as smooth as Kenya.

A coffee with everything.
This coffee is a family favorite because it has all of the taste without the bite. I believe your current 2 and a half crowns is underrated. Thus I have rated it myself.

Bitter
I tried several "Kenya" coffees before, from various vendors, and they usually were very tasteful. This one, big disappointment, it doesn't matter how I made it, it always had a very bitter taste. I even tried to make it a lot weaker than I usually do, to no success. I'm not buying it again.

Consistent Quality - The Taste That Defines Coffee
Few other reviewers have had the chance to study the entire coffee value chain, from grower to retail grocery and barista. Along the way I have met Austrian coffee traders, farmers, and cupped coffees of exceptional quality and variety. Hands down, Kenya AA is the type of coffee that for me, defines coffee.
Gevalia manages to control the sourcing and roasting that gets this great type of coffee to me in whole bean form that is reasonably fresh.
To get a 5 crown - they would have to roast it closer to arrival at my house.
