Perfect With Skimmed Milk
I have a lifelong weight problem, so I used to drink black coffee. But now that I'm "older," I can't handle it black. When I had it black, I drank light roasts. I find that most excellent coffee tastes great with light cream, but that's obviously not healthy. I searched for coffee that would taste good with skimmed milk for many years, but always in vain until I found Gevalia Breakfast Blend. I grind it every morning and I adore it. I actually think it tastes much better with skimmed milk than with half & half!

I love this coffee
After finding breakfast Blend so many years ago, I don't buy anything else. It is not over roasted and too acidic. I'm not a coffee snob, but am very particular when I make this coffee. We filter the water, and I put one scoop for every 2 cups. Then I add lagniappe, one extra scoop for every 6 cups or that ratio for what ever I am making. When traveling, I miss this coffee since it has no comparison to the "stuff" provided by the motels/hotels. I have been known to take my coffee with me. If you are a first time drinker, start out with the coffee a little weaker. My family generally loves this coffee, but one or two members find that it creates an over active alimentary problem, if you know what I mean. Us old people love it!

Excellent Coffee
I have been drinking coffee for a couple of decades, but I am far from an expert in coffee. I would consider myself the average coffee drinker who enjoys a good cup of coffee but doesn't understand all the nuances involved with selecting a particular flavor. In the past few months I had the opportunity to try Gevalia coffee, purchased in a bag at a grocery store... I loved it, as did my family. Since then, I have bought a few more bags, as well as several boxes of this flavored coffee. It has such a rich, unique, full flavor, that it surpasses any other coffee I've had before. For those who are "average" coffee drinkers, try this... you'll be amazed how great this coffee tastes.

Breakfast Blend
We have purchased this Breakfast Blend for several years and still love it. When we travel we take some with us and brew it in the room. Hotel/Motel coffee just doesn't measure up. We have tried several other blends but keep coming back to this one. You will not be disappointed.

taste is everything!
Some think i'm a coffee snob. I just know what i like, what tastes great. the Breakfast Blend is my go to coffee. Flavors are not for me. just real, rich coffee is what I enjoy. i've been drinking Gevalia Breakfast Blend for many years now. It's my luxury, for myself, every day.

Great Good Morning Aroma & Taste
I've been a Gevalia Customer since about 2004. I quickly decided on Breakfast Blend as my favorite. I will occasionally order something different (like recently, the Toraja limited offer), and I will also occasionally drink a F0lgers or 'MaxW3LL H0use' brand cup of coffee. Nothing compares to the way that Breakfast Blend tastes and makes me feel, especially on a COLD winter morning! If you're just starting to drink the Breakfast Blend, start with a weak-pot-blend and work your way up to a richer pot-blend. Start slow. Maybe with a morning roll or toasted bread. Sounds like wine tasting, I know, but if you clear your palette after your initial sips, you'll truly grow to appreciate the full flavor. Remember, start slow/weak and work your way up to a stronger pot of coffee. You'll be glad you did!

We get many compliments on this coffee
With running a bed and breakfast, we have tried many coffees, some locally processed and that could put a picture of our B&B on the package, but we keep coming back to this particular blend. It is rich, yet not acidic and many of our guests tell us they love our coffee. We had one local business call us to find out what kind of coffee we serve as they wanted to purchase some for the person they worked with who had stayed with us. They knew they;d be getting something she really liked.

The very best coffee ever.
The Breakfast Blend was one of my very first coffee,s bought from Gevalia. I am still using it today, and it has been several years now. I love the smell when I wake up in the morning. The taste is sooooooo smooth and without that usual bitter coffee aftertaste. When I serve it to friends and family, they always ask what kind of coffee it is. I have many friends that have switched to Gevalia.

great taste
This is my absolute favorite coffee. I first tasted it at a friend's house and immediately ask her what it was. In fact it is the only Gevalia coffee I order anymore because I like it so much. I have tried otherbrands of coffee and IMHO they do not even come close.

Should be a standard!
The Breakfast Blend was all I expect good coffee to be. I wonder where the beans are sourced from, but I am guessing South America, simply due to the smoothness and consistency. This coffee is great for your early morning wake-up, but could be in the coffee pot at work all day as well. It has a nice aftertaste and they got just the right amount of coffee's bitterness down to an art. Bravo!

Family Favorite
This has become my morning favorite. It is smooth and so flavorful, it wakes me up after the first sip. My adult children call me the coffee snob and everyone of them, and my husband are impressed with this outstanding coffee.

Breakfast Blend
It's hard for me to stomach other coffee besides my Breakfast Blend. I was traveling for 3 weeks and found it really difficult to enjoy the coffee. After a few days I said "why bother" because I've become such a snob now. My family and friends who don't drink coffee regularly have become addicted. If you're a coffee lover this will be a treat because it's full bodied, not acidic and the aroma is awesome.

for 50 years I have been searching for excellence in coffee. I thought I found it in dunkin doughnuts. But I was in heaven when I tasted& FOUND your Breakfast blend. (Also Traditional!) Finally ..a coffee that tastes like it smells with no herrendous bitter aftertaste. IBelieve me , my years make me a coffee conneisseur , and my search is OVER.''Breakfast Blend'' is far superior to any I have tasted and I have traveled far & wide experiencing coffees. Best Tasting
This is the best coffee on the market.The aroma when you first open the bag takes my breath away,and when it's brewing it takes me back to my chilhood days. No other coffee can compare with Gavalia.

Tasty eye opener....
This is my favorite coffee of all I have tried, and I tried a lot. I enjoy it's smooth rich flavor without any unpleasent after taste. I enjoy it with a splash of international delight coffee creamer which really compliments it.

Best coffee ever!
Best coffee ever. Consistent, dark, strong enough to be a great eye opener in the morning. Has been a regular on my list for 6 years. Everyone I have sent it to has loved it and started getting Gevalia.

Nice gentle light roast
I'm not a bold drinker, it all tastes burnt to me. This nice light roast coffee is perfect for your first cup of the day. It's light so be prepared for it's gentle blend. It's a utilitarian coffee for me, Get up get coffee get to work.

This is a rich coffee.
This is a rich tasting coffee. I am only allowed 2 cups per day by my doctor and this is the one I choose. It starts my day off on the right note and is a staple in our pantry. My husband drinks it black with no additives, i prefer a little cream which makes it taste dreamy.

Not great
This coffee isn't bad, it just isn't that great. It's a little too strong for my taste, and I don't like the flavor nearly as well as others I've tried. I'll finish what I have, but won't be getting more.

Smooth Taste w/ Just Enough Bite
This is my favorite Gevalia blend coffee that I've tried thus far (and I've been a Gevalia club member for years!). I like my coffee to be slightly strong and smooth, and this coffee does just that. It's not so overpowering that it tastes acidic, but has a wonderfully strong aroma and is strong enough to just have a little bit of bite to get me going in the morning.
