This complex and well balanced rare single bean coffee comes from the lush mountain region on the island nation of Papua New Guinea. A coffee with lots of character, its medium body and delicate flavor notes are enhanced by a brush of acidity. Indulge yourself with something special.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth it PNG coffee has its roots from Jamaican Blue Mountain seedlings so it's quite similar for less than 50% of the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE this coffee!! This is my favorite flavor of all that Gevalia has to offer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just right for a sunrise eye opener Each order, I add one or two new varieties to a few bags of my personal standard (Hazelnut fine ground). After my first taste of Papua NG, I knew it should be added it to my favorites list. It has the right blend of aroma and taste for the first eye-opener in the morning, and is not nearly as bitter as many of the non-Gevalia commercial blends I've tried. [Note: By the way, I drink it with half-and-half, and there needs to be a survey choice for both that and cream because they're a lot different than simply selecting "milk" to dress your coffee.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good medium roast coffee This is my preferred medium roast coffee. Of the current Gevalia coffees, it is the closest in taste that I've found to Stockholm Roast (which was my all time favorite)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never stop Never stop offering Papua New Guinea coffee. It is the best: smooth, rich, no after taste. Others come close, Costa Rica and others you no longer offer, but Papua New Guinea - WOW!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Coffee I keep going back to Papua New Guinea after trying other coffee's. It's medium roast with absolutely no bitter after taste. I wish I could get coffee from Dominican Republic also. Gevalia had it for a while and stopped. It is the only other coffee I like from Gevalia. I drink it all day... just about anyway.

Does this product come in K-cups?

Asked by: chip9120
I have been grinding the ground Papua New Guinea then filling kcups and using lids I bought on Amazon. I go to the trouble because I really like this coffee. They just starting selling a fine ground Papua New Guinea which I can put straight in the kcups, giving up a smidge of taste for the time saving.

So, after 15-20 years of getting coffee in bean form, not ground, we cannot get "SPECIAL EDITION PAPUA"? DO I NEED TO LOOK AT ANOTHER COFFEE SOURCE?

Asked by: drfrank
Buy a grinder The ones sold by Gevalia do fine.

Does this come in an actual BAG?

I have been on auto delivery for almost 20 years! Seems I can get better deals by buying it directly from their site now. Only the picture looks like an actual bag instead of the boxes with the vacuumed sealed "bricks" inside them that I am use to getting. Does anyone know? Thanks so much!

it comes in the usual Gevalia bag

How much caffeine is in this product?

I understand that each batch may vary. If so, could you can provide the range of caffeine content (mg/tbsp) that is found in this product?
Asked by: Waterbug
Hello Waterbug - Thank you for reaching out to us! Our Gevalia coffees contain 50-65 mg of caffeine per tablespoon used in preparation. We hope this information has been helpful to you and have a great day!
