Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 338 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Decent decafe I drink decafe as often as possible. Although not as good as the regular Signature blend, this decafe has decent flavor and aroma. I find that most decafe coffees are weaker in flavor than the regular brews. While this is true here, it still is smooth with good flavor and a nice aroma. I drink it every morning as it's easy to make in my Keurig coffee maker. May 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by We love Gevalia, been drinking it for years My family has been drinking Gevalia coffee for years. We drink both the regular Gevalia and the de-caf. We find both to be of excellent quality and I especially like the de-caf Gevalia because it does not have the bitter after taste of some other brands. May 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by I enjoy decaf in the evenings I am dieting and I enjoy something sweet in the evenings. I use a little fat free milk and Sweet Leaf sweetener. It is just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. May 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great flavor and convenient Excellent taste, fabulous delivery, truly convenient - who would have thought?? I want into my Keurig experience with a bit of skepticism. Boy, was I wrong. Now I wouldn't want to live without it? And I love the decaf - excellent taste, not the least bit bland or bitter; it has life and richness. Just what I always wanted in a coffee! February 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gevalia Signature Decaf is the best decaf I love this decaf coffee. It tastes as good as it smells, which is not something I can say about any other decaf coffee. When I run out I panic and have to order a big box so I will have plenty. I even bring some k-cups with me when I go away for a day or weekend. April 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic flavor Made it so easy to have it delivered to my door & since I ordered a couple of boxes for myself and regular for my husband, it will last a few weeks April 1, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Eye opener I really this Signature blend and using the K cup, I can also make it as strong as I want. I will generally use the 10oz or 12oz cup size, and that depends on whether I choose to have dessert. With dessert, I prefer the 10oz cup A smoothe and delightful coffee March 31, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by good coffee and reasonable when on sale Good coffee and reasonable when on sale, normally too expensive for me as are all brands of K cups March 22, 2016

BAGGED VS. K-CUPPED COFFEE

0points

Was this helpful?helpful0unhelpful0
I'm trying to figure out which is more cost efective, whether buying the k-cups, or buying the bagged coffee. However, in the bag, you can tell the net coffee weight, because it's all ground coffee within it. Yet, in the k-cup, the net weight stated in the box is 6.2 oz, what would make almost 3 18Ct boxes to make up a lb of coffee, whereas, with bagged coffee it would take 2 8-oz bags to conform a lb of coffee. This would be, cost-wise, roughly $30 for the k-cups, Vs. only $16 for bagged coffee.
Does my analysis make any sense? Or, am I ommitting any critical difference (i.e., the coffee concentration) between the two venues?

Answer:
I usually only have one mug of coffe in the mornings. My mug holds about 2 cups. It doesn't make sense to me to brew a whole pot for one mug full. Plus I noticed that I was throwing out coffe because I didn't empty the pot. So the Kcups are better for me. Plus they brew very quickly so I can be out the door.

Answer:
I would say the bagged coffee is more cost effective, but you have to consider the convenience of K-cups. Which is most important to you? In my opinion there is no difference in the strength of the coffee. It all depends on how much water you use. I buy both kinds!

Answer:
It makes sense. You do pay more for K-cups but you are paying for ease of use, the ability to switch flavors/ brands with each cup and no mess clean-up. Of course, you can use ground coffee with your K-cup machine so if you don't mind the hassle you can save a bunch.

not sure overall, but this deal with the K cups can't be beat. It is about 1000 times easier to make the coffee and with this deal, if it is a few pennies more, it is so well worth the cost!!!!!

Answer:
Caffeine content also depends on how "bold" the coffee is. If we take it across the whole spectrum, coffee contains between 75 and 150 mg. of caffeine per 8 oz. cup, depending on the roasting strength and other factors. It is difficult to measure the nutritional content of coffee, because it varies depending on many things. Generally, the darker the coffee is roasted, the less caffeine it contains.

Almost all decaffeinated coffees still contain some caffeine. The international standard by which decaffeinated coffee is characterized is by having at least 97% of the caffeine removed. Decaf coffee should fall somewhere in the range of 2 to 4 mg. per 8 oz cup.

Hi Molomar- We are sorry to hear this product did not meet your expectation. At this time, we only offer one Gevalia Decaf flavor in single serve cups. While we can't guarantee we will make more decaf flavors in the future, our staff is constantly coming up with new food ideas. Keep your eyes on those grocery store shelves for new products. Thank you for reaching out.

Answer:
Thank you for asking. Gevalia uses the supercritical carbon dioxide decaffeination process. Green coffee beans are exposed to carbon dioxide at high pressure and an elevated temperature for a determined period of time to remove most of the coffee’s caffeine. The pressure is then reduced and the coffee (decaffeinated green coffee) is ready for further processing -- roasting and grinding. There are no additional chemicals used.

Decaffeinated coffees contain no more than 0.1% caffeine in the finished coffee, which results in a consumer intake of 2-3 mg of caffeine per 6 oz. serving.

Have a great day.

Thanks for asking. After a transition period, all Kraft single-serve pods will be compatible with the new Keurig 2.0 machine. Look for a black compatibility icon on the bottom-left corner of the front of the package. The icon will appear with a check mark and say “For use in all Keurig K-Cup Brewers.” This means that the product has transitioned and is now compatible. Please use the provide link to view our Keurig 2.0 selection. Have a great day.
