Very good, but not much better than plastic
This scoop is big and durable and worth the price, but I still use the plastic freebies more often than not. This would be a great gift.

Best Scoop Ever
Love this scoop. Sent my mom one for Christmas one year...visited her and fell in love with it. Had to have one myself. Heavy weighted and the perfect measurement.

Beautiful and Stylish.
I got this scoop as a free gift from Gevalia, I love this scoop. I use it everyday and find it very elegant, it can be left out and not become a eye sore for company. Everybody that has seen it asks where I got it. Yes, it is very heavy and durable.

Heavy, good quality product
This scoop is made of good quality stainless steel, not the flimsy stuff you'd get in a "big-box" store.

How many scoops do I use with this stainless scoop with a 12 cup coffee maker

Answer:
If you like your coffee really strong (European-style), use one scoop per cup. One-half scoop per cup is more like it for the weaker style that most Americans prefer. To be clear, that's 6-12 scoops per full 12-cup pot. (Note: A "cup" isn't eight ounces when you're talking about coffee!)Age: 45-54

Answer:
We suggest you prepare GEVALIA Kaffe the way you normally prepare coffee and then gradually adjust the recipe to your taste. If strong, full bodied coffee is your preference, we recommend the European recipe: Use 1 GEVALIA Kaffe scoop (or a slightly rounded tablespoon) and 6 fl oz. of cold, filtered water per cup.10 months ago
How critical is the amount of coffee you use for each cup?
If you use a heaping scoop instead of a rounded scoop per cup,
I don't think the coffee will be much stronger.
