I have used my brand-new toaster "once" and it toasted the bread fine but now I cannot depress the lever, even with added pressure.
Is there any fix with this or do I need to return it?

CHECK TO SEE IF ITS CLOGGED IF NOT MAYBE THE SPRING IN THE LEVER IS BROKEN OR IF ANYTHING ELSE SOME TOASTERS NEED TO BE PLUGGED IN BEFORE YOU CAN USE THEM :)Age: 25-34

The handle is suppose to be depressed because it is spring activated. The downward motion on the lever should be very easy to use. If it is not l then I suggest you should return it to be on the safe side.1 year ago
