    TASSIMO T55
    Single Cup Brewing System
    $169.99
TASSIMO T55 is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 123.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great improvements I bought this as a gift for my daughter to replace the original Tassimo that we both use. I got a chance to use this one for a few days and it has great features. 1. It has a smaller profile on the counter with the water tank tucked in behind instead of sitting behind with a separate lid on it where dust could get in. 2. The plus and minus feature let me choose stronger coffee and my daughter add more water to hers. 3. The new T Disc holder is sturdy and easy to use. It feels more solid than the older style.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent This is my second Tassimo machine. I have had my first for over 7 years and it is still working. I just wanted a newer model with more features. I love this machine and used it just about every day. With the new + feature I can now make my coffee exactly as I like it without having to hold the brew button as with the older machine. There are plenty of choices for coffee and other beverages. I highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This model ROCKS! I've had several Tassimo coffee makers over the years and this is THE BEST model so far. Where we live, it's essential for coffee makers to filter the water - thank you for the filter. The back water reservoir pulls out and fills easily. This model makes coffee quicker than earlier models. (The espresso, cappuccino and peppermint mochas taste great. Quick and easy to make a fresh cup during the day.) The T55 design is attractive and practical. Looks nice on the counter. Gevalia customer service is responsive and caring, too. Great job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Foamy top to lattes My morning latte is very important to me and this new machine creates a very attractive and delicious drink. For nine years, I had another Tassimo brewer and it worked well but the parts finally started to go so it was time for a new brewer. Very happy with this one. If you want to go beyond basic coffee, this is the perfect machine for you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I have worn two of the units out through the year, so this is number three. That should say it all. Cannot find a machine that does it all like this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very dependable I have an original Tassimo when they were first out. Maybe 25-30 years ago. Use it every day. Except for it flooding about 3 times over the lifetime of the machine that's it. I figured it was something I did.???

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tassimo Customer Service After 15 months of great coffee, one T-disc got grounds all over the disc holder area. I leaned it over the sink and used the faucet sprayer to clean it off. For some reason this must have caused a pump failure, as it continually tried to pump water, not even turning off when the water was empty. Tassimo's customer service rep tried some of the basic fixes, then said that they would send a warranty replacement exchange. This was even though the warranty had been expired by 3 months. Nice. They said the new brewer would be delivered within 4-6 weeks, but we received it today after about a week. Thanks for working to keep this customer, Tassimo! To those complaining about T-disk availability, Gevalia.com and Bed, Bath and Beyond stores and website are the only places I know of to get them.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH T55

I HAVE A NEW T55 BREWER. WHEN WE PUT IN CERTAIN DISCS CHAI TEA , EARL GREY TEA THE BREWER GOES RED AND DOES NOT WORK IT HAS ALSO DONE IT ONCE ON T.IM HORTONS COFFEE. ALL THE DISCS HAVE BEEN RECENTLY PURCHASED. ANY SOLUTIONS. I HAVE REPROGRAMMED THE MACHINE TO TRY TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. THX M.BROWN

I have had three t55. I have cleaned every ounce of the machine including the bar reader and I get a 1/3 of the cup of coffee and then the machine locks up for over 30 min. It is a design flaw and it happens with all different types of coffee. I wish the would go back to the old machines that work.

What is the difference between T55 and T65..?

Asked by: HectorX
I think the only difference is the LCD panel. I spoke with Tassimo last week, and they told me that the T65 was being discontinued, so I went ahead and bought the T55 at Bed Bath and Beyond. I love it so much, I bought another one for work. And this is coming from someone who has been using k-cups for the last 2 years. You will love the T55. The filter is pretty cool too.

Price question

Hello, Why is this $20 more than the T55 at Bed Bath and Beyond? Is there a difference? Thanks, Nancy
Asked by: Anonymous
there is no difference other than the T55 having the LCD Display was removed, and a few other cosmetic changes.

Brewing hot water?

Can I just heat water thru my T55 without a Tdisc?
Asked by: Anonymous
Because Tassimo brewers use an immediate heat feature, it can be convenient to use them to produce a quick cup of hot water (i.e. for bagged tea, hot cocoa, instant oatmeal, etc). I do this by using the cleaning disc in place of a standard T-Disc. Two points to keep in mind: 1. Be prepared to press the stop button in order to stop the flow of water at the desired level. The barcode on the cleaning disc tells the Tassimo brewer to produce much more water than would be accommodated by a typical coffee cup. 2. Keep in mind that the purpose of the cleaning disc is to flush contaminants from the Tassimo brewer. Therefore, after inserting the cleaning disc, you will want to run a small amount of water (i.e. fill the cup 1/2 full) and discard this water before filling the cup for use. In addition to flushing the system clear, this also serves to pre-warm your coffee cup.
