Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for I use one of these all of the time in the house and wanted a second one for our camper. I couldn't find them at the kitchen store where I bought the first one. Gevalia is the only source I could find. This item is perfect for those of us who use tea bags and like to add honey (or something else).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! Why didn't someone think of this sooner? Getting the tea bag out of the cup smoothly without dripping has always seemed like such an awkward process. This spoon takes that all away smoothly. Some things just make an experience more pleasant and this spoon is indeed on of those things.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does What It's Suppose To That sums it up. Works fine. Since my review is to short I will make something up so you are able to accept it. I'm not much for writing a review just to say something. What I originally wrote is as much as I think this product deserves.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works OK I believe the concept is great, just needs a couple of design improvements. The spoons could be a tad longer and narrow the tips to help "fish" out the bags. The spoons could also be widened some to help cover more of the bag's surface area for squeezing purposes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I had High Expectations... I'm not that happy with my purchase of this item so I'm glad I only ordered one and not 3 of them as I was going to. I'm basically disappointed with this because it just doesn't do what I bought it for to do as well as I expected.

How large is this tea bag squeezer?

I bought what were called "tea tongs" from a specialty tea retailer, and when they came, they were large enough to have tossed salad with. My ancient stainless steel Gevalia scoop is 5 1/4" long and 1 3/4" at the scoop part, and I want a tea bag squeezer of about the same size.
Asked by: catwoman
The length from the tip to the bottom is 6 3/4 inches long and the spoon measures 2 inches.

Is it made made out of Stainless Steel?

No dimensions and product description.

For as well as it works to my satisfaction, it could be made of Sterling Silver, sell for only $10.00 and it still wouldn't matter to me as I'm dissatisfied with it. I think it is stainless though.
